We rebalance the fund every quarter, which is why the next opportunity will soon take place (2021-07-01). Before the next rebalancing, we take the opportunity to report on the fund’s performance in the current quarter, even when there are a few days left. During the quarter, the fund has been exposed to fifty companies around the world. All companies have been equally balanced. Of these, 82% have shown a positive return and the three companies where the fund made the most money during the quarter are: Norton Life Lock, which works with cybersecurity, which was up 34.48%; United Parcel Service, up 19.54%; FUJIFILM which increased by 18.79%..
The fund had nine companies with negative returns, which gives the fund an accuracy of 82%. This is comparable to Ishare’s global ETF at MSCI World which had a 75% accuracy with 400 companies out of 1628 in negative territory. In addition, the fund, through its optimization for the current quarter, was also able to show approximately 30% lower risk than the above-mentioned ETF. We can state that the quantitative selection process added value in the company selection, and we have also kept the volatility in the fund down. We will return with the new allocation after the turn of the quarter and what changes have been made then, as well as a complete report on the quarter and the market in general.
